Hasty Pope, LLP Hosts First Responders Appreciation Event

The United States Senate passed a resolution in 2019, designating October 28th as National First Responders Day to honor the brave men and women who put their lives ahead of their own to save others. At Hasty Pope, LLP, we want to show the first responders who serve our community how much we appreciate their heroic dedication and sacrifice when they spent out onto the frontlines.

Please join our firm at Brown Park in Canton, GA on Tuesday, Nov. 9thfrom 11 AM to 2 PM for our First Responders Appreciation Event! We will provide BBQ, giveaways, and raffle items to honor these courageous individuals for all that you do for our community.

We will be giving away raffle items that include:

From police officers and firefighters to emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and paramedics, first responders dedicate their lives to saving others in the midst of crisis. According to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), there are approximately 4.6 million full-time and volunteer first responders in the United States.

Considered one of the most dangerous jobs in the nation, National First Responders Days also pays tribute to first responders who paid the ultimate sacrifice. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) state that more than 150 law enforcement officers and nearly 100 firefighters die annually in the line of duty. Furthermore, they experience a high rate of occupational injury compared to the national average.

First responders are an important part of our community and their devotion to saving lives goes beyond the hours they work. Many of them experience both physical and mental trauma because of the high stress they endure on the daily basis, which is why our legal team believes first responders deserve our endless support.
