What are Super Lawyers & Rising Stars?
Super Lawyers is one of the nation’s most trusted sources for ratings and reviews of legal professionals in all 50 states. The organization has a patented multistep selection process that is utilized each year to find truly outstanding legal professionals deserving of the Super Lawyers title, which must be re-earned annually. The selection process includes third-party nominations, independent research, a 12-point analysis system, peer evaluations, and a Blue Ribbon Panel review. When everything is said and done, no more than 5% of all practicing attorneys will be selected that year.
Rising Stars is a separate category that uses the same patented selection system. The key difference is that Rising Stars nominees must be 40 or younger or have less than 10 years of legal practice experience. Due to the added restrictions on Rising Stars members, the final selection is limited to no more than 2.5% of all practicing attorneys.
