GTLA President Jon Pope & Civil Justice PAC Chairman Dustin Davies

Hasty Pope Davies Davies has had some exciting weeks recently, with two of our firm partners having gained high seats in important legal organizations.

Attorney Jonathan Pope was sworn in as the President of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (GTLA) during its annual meeting in Atlanta. The GTLA has been an instrumental organization for the continual improvement of Georgia’s civil justice system and the constant protection of the peoples’ rights to jury trials in civil matters. It helps empower civil attorneys like personal injury attorneys by conducting and hosting workshops, seminars, Continued Legal Education courses, and more. With strong legal professionals comes strong representation, which directly benefits communities throughout Georgia. We are looking forward to how Jon will direct and shape the GTLA in his new Presidential role.

Attorney Dustin Davieswas sworn in as the Chairman of the Civil Justice PAC, which is part of the GTLA. The Civil Justice PAC is a bipartisan organization with a focus on preserving the 7th Amendment right to trial by jury. It is currently one of Georgia’s largest political action committees, and it represents the GTLA’s efforts in political forays and debates. Dustin is excited to keep the Civil Justice PAC on-mission and growing during his time as Chairman.

From all of us at Hasty Pope Davies Davies, we want to congratulate Attorneys Pope and Davies for these recent and incredible achievements. It is encouraging to work with recognized and trusted legal leaders in both local and statewide communities. Our firm has been around since 1953, and we look forward to many more prosperous years for our clients thanks to your dedication.
