Early named lead counsel at Hasty Pope law firm
Hasty Pope has named John Andrew Early as new lead counsel for the firm’s workers’ compensation division.Early, an associate attorney, manages workers' compensation claims to help clients secure replaced wages; compensation for past and future losses; reimbursement for medical expenses; and, in extreme cases, benefits for families and dependents of workers killed on the job. Early helps lead clients through the process and keeps them informed about their claim.
“John brings considerable practical experience in the area of workers’ compensation to our firm,” said Tom Pope III, Hasty Pope partner. “John has unique insights he can offer our clients as he helps them navigate through claim procedures.”
Prior to joining Hasty Pope, Early was an associate attorney for Eric A. Ballinger P.C. in Canton. He was lead counsel in the firm’s domestic, civil, probate and criminal cases. In addition, he researched and drafted summary judgment motions, sentencing memorandums and appeals in both state and federal courts.
Early is a cum laude graduate from the Georgia State University College of Law where he was a member of the Student Trial Lawyers Association team that advanced to American Trial Lawyers Association national competition. He also earned the law school’s CALI Award for excellence in the study of criminal justice. Early earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Georgia.
